What We Do!

Programs:K LA Rue designs, develops, and produces customized programs, performances, residencies, and workshops by incorporating elements of theater, dance, song, music, and spoken word. We provide educational experiences for children of all ages with a specializaton in early childhood edu-cation. The group's repertoire of programs include: Creative Music and Movement; Hip Hop Dance Theater; "Livin’ the Dream" – a celebration of Black Heritage; Kids Poetry Slamm’in Art Show; Stories, Song and Drum Share; "Kwanzaa Family Celebration;" and the winning theartrical piece for the award of 10 years/10 Cities theater competition    "My Mother’s Stories andMy Father’s Word." featuring "Sounds of Distinction Ensemble"
